Community Programs

Alberta's Credit Union is a community owned financial institution with every member-owner being a shareholder. While focusing on member needs, Alberta's Credit Union, as a cooperative, supports sustainable development by making meaningful contributions in the community we call home.

Alberta's Credit Union is proud to be part of ABCU’s Youth Positive Ticketing program that encourages positive interactions between youth, law enforcement and our community.

How it works:

A youth may receive a positive ticket from an RCMP or Municipal Enforcement officer for any number of reasons with the goal of creating positive relationships between local law enforcement officers and youth including:
  • Recognizing positive behaviour
  • Rewarding good safety habits
  • Encouraging positive community spirit
